HELLO!

I founded my private practice back in 2016 with a focus on delivering individualized, high-quality psychotherapeutic care to individuals of all ages (and their families). I am fortunate to have added five amazing therapists and resident counselors in social work (please see their bios under "Our Team" tab) in the last few years as we grow in our mission to serve more individuals & families in the Northern Virginia community.

We use a compassionate, creative, strength-based, and client-focused approach in individual & group therapy. We see ourselves as therapeutic partners in helping youth and adults tap into their own resiliency to get through various challenges and grow from these experiences. Treatment is unique for every client and always confidential.

We provide Trauma Therapy (Stephanie is an IFS-Informed, EMDRIA-Approved Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDR Consultant, and Trauma-Focused CBT-Trained), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play & Expressive Arts (Stephanie is a Registered Play Therapist), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other effective modalities to address anxiety, depression, trauma, giftedness, parenting, relationship issues, grief/loss, etc. We are a neurodiversity-affirming, gender/LGBTQIA+-affirming, and BIPOC-affirming practice that does our best to make all feel safe and seen.

As a Virginia Board of Social Work Registered Supervisor, Stephanie also provides individual/group LCSW supervision for Virginia-based therapists, as well as EMDR Consultation as a Consultant-in-Training (CIT) for therapists across the nation. Please email me with any questions!
